ZTE rolling out Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) for Axon 7

The ZTE Axon 7 is first smartphones to receive Android 7.1.1 Nougat outside of the Google-branded devices. ZTE announced the update rollout via its US blog and detailed the improvements you can expect to find in the new software. Only a few Non-Nexus and Non-Pixel devices on the market officially support Android 7.1.1 there’s One Plus with its open beta, BQ’s release a couple of days ago for its Aquarius X5 plus, and now the Axon 7.

More ways to communicate with 7.1.1, Google made all its emojis gender equal, representing a wider range of professions for both men and women.

So now you can be an astronaut you always wanted and you gain the ability to send Gifs directly from your keyboard on supported apps. ZTE reports that has fixed bugs and tweaked behaviors throughout the operating system. If it is located in the US, the update can be accessed by heading to the settings menu and clicking ‘System Update’.
