E-Commerce Website’s stopped Cash On Delivery

Amazon and Flipkart India’s largest E-Commerce company’s stopped Cash On Delivery (COD) for new orders has the government banned Rs.500 and Rs.1000 Notes in India.



Amazon said in a statement that, “Currently, we have temporarily stopped cash as a payment option for new orders,”  Amazon said the customers that had already placed COD (cash-on-delivery) orders before midnight of November 8 can pay for their orders using debit or credit cards or currency of valid denominations.
